The competence center sees itself as a link between the competencies from research and development and the stakeholders in industry and politics as well as the interested public.
The aim is to develop concepts for the integration of renewable energies and hydrogen technologies in existing structures as well as the conversion of structures to holistic renewable supply and the resulting innovative energy business models.
The network also and in particular questions focuses on issues relating to security of supply and the reliability of existing and new infrastructures, which have to be established.
The economic and at the same time social performance in Europe depends to a not inconsiderable extent on the security of supply and the reliability of its energy systems. In this area of tension, a triad of key challenges is increasingly emerging:
With its network of research and industrial partners, the competence center can develop solutions that address these challenges. For this purpose, strategies and concepts can be developed that represent both an affordable and resilient solution for a wide variety of issues.
